How to create and deploy Image
from partition locked by Bit Locker?
How to enable bit locker on
partition?
Below are the
steps to enable bit locker.
- Right click on a partition and select turn on bit locker.
- Click on “use a password to unlock option” , type password then click next.
- Choose option “ save recovery key to a file”. Choose path then press OK.
- Click next after that click on “start encryption”.
Note:- Need to
make a note of bit locker recovery key and bit locker password should
be password protected.
How to create Image?
Below steps will
help in creating Image.
- Click on Start go to Getting Started and then select Back up your files .
- Next click on the Create a system image hyperlink.
- Decide where you want to save the image. You can choose an external drive, burn to multiple DVD’s, or store it on a network location.
- You can include other drives if you want as well but remember that will add to the size of the final image.
- At the confirmation screen notice the amount of space the image may take. If something doesn’t look right you can still go back from this point and make adjustments.
- A progress meter is displayed while the images is created and backed up.
How to deploy Image?
Below are the
steps to deploy Image.
- Tapping F8 while booting.
- Select first option “Repair your computer”.
- Now showing windows loading files.
- Asking for bit locker recovery key, after enter key press next.
- It's showing “temporary access to drive”, press next.
- Select keyboard input method as US and press next.
- Now entered admin password or use which is in admin group.
- Now choose option “System Image recovery.
- Now searching for Image, once finish click on next.
- Choose additional restore option then press next.
- Showing re-image your computer after that press finish.
- Click on option Sure you want to continue press yes.
- Showing restoring computer from system Image after that all set.
